Read the official synopsis for the The Fantastic Four reboot film!

The reboot for The Fantastic Four from director Josh Trank has been getting a lot of heat from fans concerning some of the news of changes that would be made in the film. We'll have to wait and see how these changes unfold in the film and how they will play out but fans should at least give it a chance.

Rotten Tomatoes has posted an official synopsis from the studio.

"THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. (C) Fox"

Although the origin story has clearly been changed this film still has potential to be good and fans should understand that not every adaptation can be 100% true to the comics. As long as the core concepts are the same and the story is good, that is all I am looking for.

The Fantastic Four will be in theaters on August 7, 2015.
