Could actress Jena Malone be playing Carrie Kelley, aka Robin, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?
Rumors are once again coming off the set of Warner Bros.' Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice concerning actress Jena Malone (Sucker Punch, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire).
The actress was spotted visiting the set which initially sparked her involvement with the film that she could possibly be suiting up as the young female Carrie Kelley, aka Robin, from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns storyline from the Batman comic franchise. Then Malone posted a photo of herself with red hair on her Instagram with fueled the rumors.
Now a background extra from the Warner Bros. set has risked a $5 million lawsuit and broke their signed non-disclosure agreement with Warner Bros. to say that a female Robin will indeed be seen in the film. This is extremely risky and I can't imagine why the extra would risk breaking this story when they really get nothing from it since they have to remain anonymous or face a lawsuit. WILX-10 News picked up the story and soon every website followed suit.

So is Jena Malone playing Carrie Kelley, aka Robin, in the new film? Things seem to be pointing in that direction. How do you feel about a female Robin coming to the big screen? If Malone is indeed playing her do you think this was a smart casting choice?
