Wildcat joins the CW's Arrow for Season 3!

Another DC Universe character is entering the world of the CW's Arrow in Season 3! At San Diego Comic-Con we found out that enemy Ra's al Ghul would be appearing in the third season and figured that that would be the big announcement that the show had for its fans. It turns out that that was only the beginning.

A new announcement has just been made to even out the balance and introduce a new good guy to the show. Actor J.R. Ramirez has been cast as the vigilante Ted Grant aka Wildcat!

This character was first introduced in 1942 as a heavyweight heavyweight boxing champion who gets framed for the murder of his mentor. To clear his own name he becomes a vigilante and then continues to fight the good fight after his original mission was accomplished. Most noteably, he was a member of the Justice Society of America and trained characters such as Batman and Black Canary in various forms of martial arts!
