Guillermo del Toro announces a Pacific Rim sequel as well as an animated show! [video]

Guillermo del Toro has revealed his plans for Pacific Rim 2 as well as an animated series for the franchise! Fans expected a sequel to be released but now we know it is officially happening along with the pleasant surprise of the show! I have to admit that I did not see that particular news coming. The film sequel will be making their way to fans in April 2017 and I would assume that the show will be around that time if not sooner to fill in the gap between films.
