Disney releases the first two trailers for Star Wars Rebels! [video]

Happy Star Wars Day!

Disney released two amazing trailers for the upcoming Star Wars Rebels for Star Wars Day. Star Wars Rebels is set in the time period between Star Wars: Episode III and Star Wars: Episode IV when the Galactic Empire is seizing control of the galaxy. The show will show you how the rebellion was formed and take you on all new adventures that fill the unknown gap between the two movies. The more I see of this show the more excited I get. There is a lot of new, great footage in these trailers and you even get to hear the new villain, the Inquisitor, speak for the very first time! Below you can watch the full trailer as well as a short trailer for the show, both of which are fantastic!

"This trailer offers many new glimpses at sequences from the show, including the starship Ghost chased by TIE Fighters; young Ezra watching as a Star Destroyer looms overhead; Stormtroopers marching; a zero-g fight between our heroes and Imperials; and Kanan, a secret Jedi, assembling his lightsaber and preparing for battle. It ends, however, with an Imperial officer reporting to the Inquisitor -- the Empire's Jedi hunter, seen and heard here for the first time."

Star Wars Rebels is set to premier this Fall in a one hour special as the Disney Channel and will be followed by the full series on Disney XD.
