A visual timeline of The One Ring from The Lord of the Rings!

Check out this amazing infographic created by Emil Johansson that chronicles the timeline of the One Ring from Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The timeline tracks the ring through Middle Earth over the course of 4,860 years as it traveled from ring bearer to ring bearer (all seven of them). The impressive thing about this infographic is that it also breaks down the War of the Ring. Look on as the One Ring is forged by Sauron in the Second Age and destroyed as Gollum falls into the depths of Mount Doom in the Third Age. Johansson has done an amazing job with this infographic and all Tolkien fans out there will love it.
