New interview with Paul McGann about his return to Doctor Who! [video]
Fans of the British sci-fi show Doctor Who got a huge surprise for the 50th Anniversary and it wasn't even in the 50th Anniversary episode itself. It came in the form of a prequel where beloved Eighth Doctor, Paul McGann, finally came back to the show in the minisode titled "The Night of the Doctor". Paul McGann played the Doctor in the 1996 tv movie but then never returned to the screen as the show was not picked up by FOX. His Doctor did however live on in many audio adventures. His appearance in "The Night of the Doctor" connected the Eighth Doctor audio adventures with the tv series and finally let fans see the Eighth Doctor regenerate.
The BBC has now released a behind-the-scenes video interview with Paul McGann in which he discusses his return to the show and his new costume. One of the great things about this interview is that you can really see how much McGann loves the show and the character of the Doctor when he speaks.
I for one was extremely happy he returned. Were you?
