Peter Jackson may be all set to direct an episode of Doctor Who!

Rumors have been circulating at the possibility of Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings, King Kong, The Hobbit) directing a future episode of Doctor Who. Jackson has made it known that he'd love to direct an episode and had some fun ideas but it seems that things are progressing to make this a reality!
Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat recently did an interview with Metro where he revealed some new information.
"‘He’s serious about it,’ he admitted. ‘We talked about it at the Hobbit premiere – he just wants a Dalek.
‘So we’ll give him a Dalek and he’ll direct an episode. I think he’d like us to go to New Zealand.’"
As noted above Jackson has asked to keep a single Dalek for his prop collection in lue of getting paid. I for one think that if Jackson gets creative control over a Doctor Who episode and location choice it will be one amazing episode! Would you be excited for Jackson to direct Doctor Who?
