The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and 4 get release dates from Sony!

While The Amazing Spider-Man 2 may be currently filming in New York City, Sony has made a big announcement concerning the next two installments in the The Amazing Spider-Man franchise.

Sony announced today that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 now have official release dates! The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will hit theaters on June 10, 2016 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 will be on May 4, 2018.

"Sony vice chairman Jeff Blake said when announcing the two dates of the films: "Spider-Man is our most important, most successful, and most beloved franchise, so we're thrilled that we are in a position to lock in these prime release dates over the next five years.""

Its not too bad to have only two years separating the films. This is definitely exciting news!
