Karen Gillan's character in Guardians of the Galaxy revealed?

Not too long ago it was revealed that former Doctor Who star Karen Gillan would be starring in the upcoming Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy as a leading female villain but her character was not revealed.

It seems as though this has all changed, however, with a shot of an unidentified Scottish paper that has leaked her character. This has not yet been confirmed but at the moment it looks pretty plausible.

The writing in the newspaper reads:

"Karen Gillan will have to be in good shape for her role as a gold bikini-clad alien villain in the Marvel comics superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy. The former Doctor Who star will play Angela, a flame-haired, sword-wielding bounty hunter. The 25-year old Scot – the Time Lord’s companion Amy Pond – begins filming in London later this summer."

This could be some really cool news and who wouldn't mind seeing Karen Gillan in that outfit! The character of Angela is just entering the Marvel universe at the moment and is fresh from her appearance in the Age of Ultron 10-issue event. Do you think Gillan will be playing Angela in Guardians of the Galaxy and are you excited to see this new character on the big screen already?
