First trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has some big reveals! [video]

The first trailer has finally ben released for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! If this trailer is an indication of the pace the movie will follow, things look like they will pick up and have a lot of action. I am really excited.

In this new trailer you'll get a glimpse of Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Evangeline Lilly as the elf warrior Tauriel, the shape-shifter Beorn, and most importantly Smaug the Dragon!!

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be in theaters on December 13, 2013.
