Star Wars meets Star Trek in this 'Star Wars Into Darkness' mash-up trailer! [video]

In light of J.J. Abrams being chosen to direct the next Star Wars film, British film critic Ross Thomson has created a mash-up trailer that combines video footage and audio clips from the original Star Wars trilogy to the musical score and art direction of the Star Trek Into Darkness trailer from J.J. Abrams. This new trailer has been named "Star Wars Into Darkness" and gives fans a look at the kind of feel that Star Wars could have now that it is being directed by Abrams. 

This trailer was brilliantly cut and is extremely fun to watch. Though I have to admit, it didn't make me more excited for Abram's future Star Wars films as much as it made me really want to re-watch the original trilogy. Let me know what you think of the trailer in the comments!
