Two possible names emerge for the third The Hobbit film!

It was announced today that The Hobbit would be split into three films, but it appears that more news is already beginning to surface for the new film. At the moment a summer 2014 release is being looked at for the film. More excitingly, Fusible has uncovered two possible names that will be used for the third The Hobbit film. The film has already purchased two domain names for each of the films; TheHobbitAnUnexpectedJourney.com and TheHobbitThereandBackagain.com. But now they have purchased several other domains through MarkMonitor. The domains are:

With this new information it appears that the third film will either be titled The Hobbit: Riddles In The Dark or The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug. Fans will recognize 'Riddles in the Dark' as a chapter title and 'The Desolation of Smaug' referring to Smaug's lair. Of course these names could be domains for a marketing campaign or something along those lines but you know the studio would want to secure the rights for the name as soon as possible. So the likelihood of one of these being a film name is good.
