Tour the Harry Potter set in person!

For the first time, fans of the Harry Potter franchise will be able to visit the model used for the famous Hogwarts Castle in person. On March 31, the model will be displayed as a part of The Making Of Harry Potter studio tour at Leavesden Studios.
"The model was built for the first film - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - and has been used for exterior shots in every film since.
When all the time spent by 86 artists and crew members is added up, it took an incredible 74 years to build.
Measuring 50 feet across, it has more than 2,500 fibre optic lights to simulate lantern torches and students passing through hallways.
It even has miniature owls in the Owlery and hinges on the doors."
The tour will be a total of 3 hours and will take fans through the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office, the Gryffindor common room, Potion’s classroom and Professor Umbridge’s office, Hagrid’s Cottage, Daigon Alley, Ollivanders wand shop, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Flourish and Blotts, Eeylops Owl Emporium, and the Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. Props and life-sized models of the movie's creatures will also be on display. Now that is one great tour!
