This "Death of Spider-Man" motion comic will make you feel like you just lived this heartbreaking adventure.

Last April it was announced that Ultimate Spider-Man would be dying and that a new Spider-Man would pick up where he left off. The idea of Peter Parker dying was a hard sell for many fans but it was happening whether they liked it or not. When the time came, the comic and story were well handled. It is an amazing story of a 16 year old boy's bravery in the face of certain peril. The story also shows amazing loyalty from Peter’s family and friends. It was certainly a great send off for Peter.

Recently, a fan made motion comic was brought to my attention and I thought that I should give it a chance. I liked the printed comic so I thought I would like this as well. I really must say that I am glad that I gave it a chance. It has a 22 minute run time and is well worth the time. Directed by Andrew S. Bates and Thomas Andrew Lawson, this motion comic is simply incredible! The voice acting throughout the comic is extremely well done by all. Andrew Bates does an amazing job as the voice of Spider-Man/Peter Parker and he really brings the role to life. You can hear the pain and struggle coming through his words. Well done, Andrew! The animation is crisp and clean and transitions through the panels in a very seamless way. Kudos go to Thomas Andrew Lawson and Travis Coley who were in charge of Video Effects/Design for this project. As with any good book / television show / movie, you do not notice the time going by because you are so into the story going on. In the closing moments the acting brings the heart wrenching tale to life and makes the audience feel for Peter Parker. In his last moments, we see and hear a boy come to the realization that he had done it. He saved those he loved after failing to save his Uncle Ben. The closing montage with testimonials by his friends, allies, and family is extremely touching and heart-warming. The music for this moment is well chosen and the older comics of Spider-Man scrolling in the background is an amazing touch.

To all those that had a hand in this, thank you very much. You have done a phenomenal job and have created something that fans will love to watch over and over. Your hard work definitely shines through and I can only hope that future comics inspire you enough to make another.

I recommend this video to all comic book fans and especially to all Spider-Man fans. It really is amazing. Enjoy.
