Catwoman's Full Costume

I previously reported on the Catwoman costume that Anne Hathaway would be wearing in The Dark Knight Rises. I was originally skeptical because she did not have some sort of headpiece or mask that we are used to seeing on Catwoman. In the official photo she is just wearing goggles. Those concerns have been addressed and we can now take a look at a more complete Catwoman costume from the set of The Dark Knight Rises.

Though we now officially have a mask and cat ears this wasn't really what I was expecting from Christopher Nolan. We can see that Hathaway is wearing different boots (look at the heals) in these photos but the peculiar aspect of these photos is the resemblance of the mask/ears to the goggles that we saw in the first official photo. Looking at the side angle photo it almost looks like the ears may slide down over the eyes creating the goggles from the first photo. Though this is a pretty cool aspect, the fact remains that with the ears up Anne Hathaway's Catwoman looks like one of the older versions of the character from the 1960's or 1970's.
Also, are we supposed to fall into the generic superhero logic that when someone puts on a small mask covering their eyes we can't tell who they are anymore?
