Full length trailer for Guillermo del Torro's Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark looks like a wonderfully scary adaptation of the 80's book series.

CBS Films has released an all new trailer for director Guillermo del Toro's upcoming horror film Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. The film is inspired by the '80's childrens' horror books of the same name and the trailer looks great!!

At the moment, everything is looking wonderfully scary and this film appears to be a great adaptation to a series that I loved reading as a child. I cannot wait!

Synopsis:

"It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind...but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home."

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark will be in theaters on August 9, 2019.
