Genie, Aladdin, Jasmine, and more are revealed in 7 new photos from Disney's live action Aladdin.

Disney has released a new set of photos that gives fans their first good look into their upcoming live action Aladdin film. The film stars Will Smith as Genie, Noami Scott as Jasmine, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar.

Initial reactions from fans seem to point at there being plenty to be both happy and unhappy about with these photos. I'm holding my opinions for the moment but I will say that I agree with one fan complaint that Aladdin just doesn't look poor in the film. Maybe middle class but not poor. Also, even though you do not see it here, Disney has stated that Genie will be blue in the film. Maybe he originally comes out of the lamp blue? Maybe he turns blue later? We'll have to wait and see.
