Matt Smith has been cast in a key role in Star Wars Episode IX.

Two sets of fandoms are set to collide as it has been announced that Matt Smith, best known for his role as The Doctor on Doctor Who, has been cast in a key role in J.J. Abram's upcoming film Star Wars Episode IX.

At the moment there are no details on exactly who Smith will be playing but many fans are putting him on the side of The First Order. He does appear to have that First Order kind of look.
