Nintendo officially announces the Super Nintendo Classic Edition!

IT'S HAPPENING!!

Today, Nintendo officially announced the upcoming release of the Super Nintendo Classic Edition. Not much information is available just yet on this new item but the release states that it will have 21 games included on it which will include Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, and more. The surprise addition to the game line up here is the inclusion of Star Fox 2! This game was never released and most will say that was due to the upcoming release of Star Fox 64 which we all know was a smash hit. It's very interesting that Nintendo is including this unreleased game. Though it may be included as a mere insentive to get people to buy the console.

The big worry now is whether or not the Super Nintendo Classic Edition will have the same shortage problem that the NES Classic Edition had. We can only hope that Nintendo learned from their previous mistake and will have plenty of these consoles available.

Look for the Super Nintendo Classic Edition in stores on September 29, 2017.
