Netflix officially announces their Carmen Sandiego animated series.

It's official! Netflix has officially announced that they are creating a Carmen Sandiego cartoon and that it will premiere in 2019! I used to LOVE Carmen Sandiego when I was little. From the computer games, to the cartoon, and even the live action game show!

The new animated series will star Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) as the voice of Carmen as Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) will voice Player, an apparent accomplice and friend of Carmen's.

Show synopsis:

""Carmen Sandiego is back and ready for a new crop of international capers packed with thrilling adventure and intrigue. This fresh take presents an intimate look into Carmen's past where viewers will not only follow her escapades but also learn WHO in the world is Carmen Sandiego and WHY she became a super thief.""

The show has been picked up for 20 episodes that will run for 22 minutes each. Are you excited for all new adventures with Carmen Sandiego?
