David Thewlis is cast as Ares in Wonder Woman. See what he'll look like in the film!

It was recently revealed that Ares would be the big villain of the upcoming DC film Wonder Woman but now the news that actor David Thewlis (Professor Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise) has been cast in the role is officially released. It is being reported that Ares will be a mixture of both CGI and practical effects in the film.

Below you can see what Ares will look like in the film thanks to his action figure on display at Toy Fair New York.

I love this design and love the comics influence that it has. The skull helmet looks amazing and looks similar to the Injustice helmet. Even though some fans may call out for the Roman style helmet I think the creepy factor to this one gives it the perfect look for the character.
