New poster for the upcoming X-Men show "Legion" shows an explosion of power.

FX has released a new poster for their upcoming Marvel show Legion. For those unfamiliar, Legion is from the X-Men franchise and is the son of Professor X in the comics. This new poster shows David Haller's (aka Legion) head exploding with psychic power. The thing I actually love about this is that the explosion actually mirrors Legion's extremely tall hair cut from the comics. Well done!

Show synopsis:
"Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real."

The really cool thing is that each of David's powers are controlled by a different personality and they may not all have David's best interest in mind when using them.

Legion premieres on Feb. 8, 2017, at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
