Neil Patrick Harris shines in a new trailer for Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Netflix has been on a roll lately with their original shows and it looks like they may have another hit on their hands. The streaming service has released a new trailer for their show A Series of Unfortunate Events based off the popular book series. Actor Neil Patrick Harris steps into the lead role, Count Olaf, for the show and it looks promising.

"Based on the internationally best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) and starring Emmy and Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris, A Series of Unfortunate Events recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans -- Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death."

A Series of Unfortunate Events will stream on Netflix on January 13, 2017.
