The hunt is on for Captain Jack Sparrow in the first teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The first "teaser" trailer has been released for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales! Although this trailer doesn't show too much and may fit the "teaser" name (sort of), at almost 2 minutes long that is one long teaser. The first official poster was also released which can be seen above.

I have high hopes for this film and am really hoping it is better than the last film. I actually like that you don't see Captain Jack in this trailer. As you'll see, he is being hunted down by Javier Bardem’s Captain Salazar, so it makes sense not to show him just yet.

Synopsis:

"Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be in theaters on May 26, 2017.
