Interesting first Power Rangers poster is released for the upcoming film.

The first poster has been released for the upcoming Power Rangers film and it is much different than what anyone expected. Lionsgate went with a true teaser poster but I have to say for the first poster that it actually works. It focuses on the teenagers themselves as a team rather than their hero alter egos. It comes with the tagline, "Together we are more," and features the silhouettes of the Power Rangers out of their power suits. Playing the Rangers will be Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger, and Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger. Joining them in the film is Elizabeth Banks as the villainous Rita Repulsa and Bryan Cranston as Zordon.

Look closely at the stars in the poster and you'll notice the iconic Power Rangers lightning bolt.

Power Rangers will be in theaters on March 24, 2017.
