Playmobil and Funko team up to create 6 inch figures for TMNT, Ghostbusters, Doctor Who, and more!

Funko has just announced a new partnership with the toy company Playmobil to create a new line of 6 inch figures that will bring pop culture and Playmobil figures together.

Funko CEO Brian Mariotti stated,

"“We’re honored and thrilled to create the first ever cross-license with PLAYMOBIL and bring their unique style to the hip and trendy pop culture licenses Funko is known for. It’s an amazing opportunity, and we know fans of both styles are going to love these figures.”"

The figure sets announced so far include Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Sherlock, and Doctor Who. Many more are said to be announced in the future. These figures will cost $14.99 and will be hitting store shelves this summer.
