Main villain of Thor: Ragnarok is revealed with Cate Blanchett possibly playing her.

*Spoilers ahead for Thor: Ragnarok.*

Rumors have been going around for some time that actress Cate Blanchett was talking to Marvel Studios about taking a role in the upcoming film Thor: Ragnarok. Rumors grew to say that she may even be in talks to take a role as a villain in the film. It appears as though those rumors were true! Geek.com has reported that they have discovered the main villain of the film and that it looks like Blanchett may be in line to play her. The villain of this film will be Hela, Goddess of Death.
"There has been speculation that the character of Hela could replace the physical embodiment of Death that Mad Titan Thanos falls in love with when he obtains the Infinity Gauntlet in the comic books on which the Avengers: Infinity War movies are loosely based. The general thought is that having a character representing Death suddenly appear in a big Avengers movie would be more confusing to audiences than a character they already know represents Death from a previous movie. Though now that Cate Blanchett is likely Hela, who wouldn’t want this to be true just to see Blanchett and Josh Brolin (who will be playing Thanos) repel dozens of Avengers?
In Thor: Ragnarok, Hela and Loki will have set their plan well in motion by the time Thor gets wise to what’s going on. Hela ends up creating the incident to Thor’s journey in the film. According to our sources, when Thor confronts Hela, things do not go well. Not only does she banish Thor from Asgard, but she destroys Mjolnir!"
Wow. If all this comes true then the Marvel Cinematic Universe is in for some tough times ahead! What do you think about bringing in Hela to the MCU and having Cate Blanchett play her?

Thor: Ragnarok will be in theaters on November 3, 2016.
