New The X-Files behind the scenes first look fills fans in on what to expect for the mini-series.

The X-Files is set to make a big return next month and fans couldn't be more excited. In order to excite fans further and give them a little look at what is to come a "First Look" video has been released that has Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Glen Morgan talking about what fans can expect in the upcoming six part series.

Executive Producer/writer/director Glen Mogan shares some very interesting information in that the first and last episodes of the mini-series will focus on the show's mythology while episodes 2-5 will be stand alone stories. It'll be a lot of fun to see where these characters are now, how the mythology of the show will be delivered, and what new creatures we will come across.

The X-Files' season premiere is a two part opening with Part 1 airing Sunday January 24, 2016 at 10pm ET (after NFC Championship Game) and Monday, January 25, 2016 at 8pm.
