Sarah Michelle Gellar's role on Star Wars Rebels is revealed!
It was revealed earlier that Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) was cast in the Disney XD show Star Wars Rebels but who she would be playing was not revealed. Gellar has stepped forward and the guessing games are over!
Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that she is playing an Inquisitor by the name The Seventh Sister. This new villain looks like she means business! Gellar stated,
"My character believes that Ahsoka is back, and she's trying to track down Ahsoka, and the Rebels... and kill them all!"Season synopsis for the Inquisitors and Sarah Michelle Gellar:
"In the latest season of Star Wars Rebels, a new team of Inquisitors has been dispatched by the Empire to track down Kanan, Ahsoka, the rest of the Ghost crew…And kill them all. No stranger to playing skilled fighters on TV, Gellar flew into the role without seeing any conceptual designs, bringing her own warrior's interpretation to the silky, lightsaber-wielding assassin that our heroes are having a lot of trouble stopping."The Seventh Sister looks like she'll be an amazing character and I cannot wait to see her on the show. I usually root for the good guys but come on, who doesn't love a great bad guy. I'm excited to see how Sarah Michelle Gellar will bring this character to life and how the character will impact the show.
