Meet the voice behind Disney's newest Hawaiian princess, Moana.

Disney has just announced that they have cast the young Hawaiian native Auli'i Cravalho as the voice of the newest Disney princess, Moana! At just 14 years old, Cravalho is extremely exciting to be taking on the role and was actually the last actress seen on the last day of casting.

Check out the video below to see Auli'i Cravalho talk about her casting for this film.

Cravalho spoke about the character of Moana stating,
""From baby time to now, I wanted to be a Disney princess and then I wanted to be a singer or an actress."
"Moana is such an amazing character. She’s brave, she is so empowered, she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to get it, and I think that’s something that I can relate to as well. I just love watching how she goes along in this wonderful movie and grows as a person and helps her culture along the way.""

Cravalho will be joined in the film by actor Dwayne Johnson who is voicing the character Maui who is a demigod. Both will be singing in the new film. Cravalho is a soprano in her school's glee club.
