Spider-Gwen gets her own amazing live action film trailer thanks to Vulture!

The new Marvel super heroine Spider-Gwen quickly became one of Marvel's top characters when she was introduced. The character imagines that Peter Parker's girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, also receives spider abilities and becomes a hero all her own. New York Magazine and Vulture have taken things to the next level and created an amazing live action "Spider-Gwen" movie trailer that stars actress Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.

"Superhero movies are, for the most part, a boys' club. So we envisioned a new Marvel movie starring a woman: "Spider-Gwen," based on the popular comics series that imagines Peter Parker's girlfriend getting spider-powers instead of him. Emma Stone would star, of course."

The video uses footage from films like The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2, Birdman, and others that include Emma Stone and is quite convincing. Cosplayer Julianne Cancalosi was also featured for the scenes that featured the Spider-Gwen costume. This video is a lot of fun and makes you wonder if Sony / Marvel will ever develop an actual Spider-Gwen film. I hope they do! Enjoy!
