Disney delivers casting, a cast photo, a new name, and more for Star Wars' Rogue One film!

The first cast photo for the upcoming Star Wars anthology film "Rogue One" has been released! Also, Disney and Lucas Film have changed the name of the film to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. I can't say that I fully support this name change. "A Star Wars Story" seems kind of juvenile. Kathleen Kennedy was on hand to reveal the entire film cast which consists of "Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk (as a motion capture character), and Riz Ahmed." This is a fantastic cast! Next, she went on to reveal some details on the film and what fans can expect from it.
""Rogue One takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe. It goes into new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know. Gareth is such an innovative director and I’m so excited to be working with him and the extraordinary ensemble cast he’s selected for ‘Rogue One.'""
It'll be very interesting to see a story we know so well told from a new perspective with all new adventures. I cannot wait!
