Netflix CCO speaks about its Marvel shows and gives fans a timeline. Find out when we'll see Jessica Jones!

At their Television Critics Association panel, Netflix CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) Ted Sarandos spoke about Marvel's lineup of shows that will eventually make up the The Defenders team; Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Although a specific timeline wasn't given he did narrow it down greatly.
"“I think ideally there will be a rhythm of about every six months you’ll get a new season or a new series from the Defenders group. And then they’ll crossover into a combined [Defenders] season once we’ve launched the first season of each of the four characters. Some will selectively have multiple seasons as they come out of the gate. So [there will] probably be two launches a year.”"
We know that Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter, was slated to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2015. If the Marvel shows are set for about every six months that will put the release date of Jessica Jones around October 2015.
