Could Benicio Del Toro be the next Star Wars villain in Star Wars: Episode VIII?

It is being reported that Disney and Lucasfilm are in the process of casting director Rian Johnson's Star Wars: Episode VIII. The first word to come out of this is that actor Benicio Del Toro has been offered a villain role in the film.

At the moment there is no word on who he will be playing and it is frankly too early to even take a wild guess since The Force Awakens hasn't even been released in theaters yet. This won't be Del Toro's first film with the Disney corporation however. Fans may remember him as The Collector in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

This casting is not official yet but if he lands the role I think he could be a great addition to the Star Wars franchise. Would you want to see Benicio Del Toro as a villain in Star Wars?

Star Wars: Episode VIII has a tentative release date set for May 26, 2017.
