A new logo for Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil has been released for the show's second season and it is riddled with bullets! Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, is officially coming to the show and the show has made their decision on who will play him!

Look out The Walking Dead fans, Shane is back! That's right. Actor Jon Bernthal has been cast as The Punisher!

The Punisher is a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City by any means necessary, no matter how lethal the results may be.

Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s head of television, commented that:

"“Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on, with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will connect with audiences,” says Loeb. “Castle’s appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same.”"

I have to say that although I can definitely see Bernthal in the role I am not completely sold on his casting just yet. I may need to see how he'll look in the show. He definitely has the intensity needed but I think it'll come down to his look for me. How do you feel about this new casting?

Season 2 of Daredevil will premiere on Netflix in 2016.
