Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice official synopsis is released!

The official film synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been released!

Surprisingly, even though we now have official information on the film, we know nothing new about the film or it's story. The released synopsis had been guess by fans as soon as the film and the title were announced.

Official synopsis:

"Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before."

I have to say that this synopsis is a little disappointing. We learn nothing new and this is something that most fans guessed from Day 1. The real question is who is the film's villain?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be in theaters on March 25, 2016.
