Read the official synopses of Agent Carter (Season 2) and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Season 3)!

Fans were thrilled when it was announced that Marvel's Agent Carter was picked up for a second season and the good news continued when it was confirmed that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was also picked up for Season 3.

The two shows will be moving forward but for at least Agent Carter not in the same city. Below you can read the official synopses for each show's new season.

Agent Carter Season 2: 

"“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”"

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3:

"Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) embarks on a deadly new secret mission to protect the world from new threats in the wake of SHIELD's wars with Hydra and a rogue faction of Inhumans."

The move for Agent Carter from New York City to Los Angeles is very interesting and I'm excited to see what kind of threat can be found out west. On the other side you have Phil Coulson embarking on a new secret mission that could bring in just about anything from the Marvel Universe into the show so it'll be exciting to see what Marvel has up their sleeve for S.H.I.E.L.D. next season.
