Key and Peele's "Substitute Teacher" sketch is bought by Paramount Pictures to be turned into a full length film!

If you are a fan of the hit Comedy Central show Key and Peele then I have some amazing news for you! Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures has just bought a pitch to the show's wildly popular "Substitute Teacher" sketch and are looking into creating it into a full feature length film!

The sketch comes from comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele and focuses on a substitute teacher from the inner city, Mr. Garvey played by Keegan-Michael Key, who is strict about not being messed with as he takes attendance in a class of white, suburban high school students.
"Keegan-Michael Key will reprise his role as as the over-the-top substitute Mr. Garvey, and Jordan Peele will portray a rival teacher determined to be the students’ favorite."
The script will be written by Key and Peele producers Rich Talarico and Alex Rubens and Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will produce. If this gets made into a movie I will definitely see it! As a teacher I find the sketch absolutely hilarious. Below you can watch the two sketches that have aired on Key and Peele.
