David Tennant is cast in Marvel's AKA Jessica Jones series on Netflix!

Marvel released some pretty big information today by announcing that actor David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch, Gracepoint) will be joining the Marvel family! Tennant has been cast in the upcoming Netflix series AKA Jessica Jones as the villain Kilgrave!

Tennant will be joining the cast along side Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones and Mike Colter as her husband Luke Cage.

The series is set to follow Jessica Jones as she looks to rebuild her life as a detective after her short stint as a super hero. Her detective work keeps her close to the super hero world as she deals with cases involving individuals with extraordinary abilities. There is no word yet how Kilgrave will come into the picture but besides being extremely intelligent he has the ability to produce various pheromones that allow him to verbally control his enemies and can control multiple people at once, even crowds leading into the hundreds.
