Could Batman v Superman be getting split into two films? Find out the possible titles and release dates!
If the upcoming DC film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has does anything so far it is create headlines. From rumors to set photos and leaked items, this film is staying in the eyes of the media.
Now it appears that the Zack Snyder film may be getting split into two separate films! A new image has popped up online, that was supposedly taken from the films teaser trailer, shows two separate films with separate names and release dates.
Batman v Superman: Enter the Knight - October 23, 2015
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - April 25, 2016
This is of course still a rumor and there is no validity to the photo yet but if this turns out to be true this will be huge news for the film and DC fans everywhere. Shooting for this film has last quite a long time so it is plausible that Snyder is filming two films back to back. It could also explain the huge list of DC characters that are supposed to appear in this film.
I'm not usually a fan of splitting one story into multiple films but then this isn't one book being split up. This is an all new story being created. If fans can get a new DC film in just 10 months I am sure that they will not complain. Some might say that we haven't heard anything about it so how could it happen. To this I would like to point out that the new The Fantastic Four reboot is scheduled to come out in June and we haven't seen much of that film either.
If this all turns out to be true are you excited for TWO Batman v Superman films? What do you think of the title "Enter the Knight"? And why didn't they take this chance to name at least one film "World's Finest"?
