J.K. Rowling confirms for the first time that there are Jewish students at Hogwarts. See who.
Tonight marks the first night of Hanukkah and it seems fitting that on this day author J.K. Rowling has revealed for the first time that there are indeed Jewish students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter novels.
When asked on Twitter if there were any Jewish people at Hogwarts, Rowling responded by confirming that Ravenclaw student Anthony Goldstein is a Jewish wizard.
Though many probably guessed this by the name "Goldstein", it is still cool to have confirmation.
