First trailer for Pan is released! Find out the origin to Peter Pan's story!

The first trailer has been released for director Joe Wright's Peter Pan inspired film, Pan!

I have to admit that I really did not know what to expect from this film but the trailer looks pretty interesting. Yes, it's an origin story for Peter Pan but it still has some very interesting ideas and concepts shared in this trailer. The one thing that I am still not sold on is actor Hugh Jackman as the pirate Blackbeard. I don't know why but I am not liking his look all that much.

"Offering a new take on the origin of the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie, the action adventure follows the story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny—to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.  

The film stars Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman (“Les Misérables”) as Blackbeard; Garrett Hedlund (“Inside Llewyn Davis”) as Hook; Oscar nominee Rooney Mara (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”) as Tiger Lily; Adeel Akhtar (“The Dictator”) as Smee; and newcomer Levi Miller as Peter."

Pan is set to be released in theaters on July 17, 2015.
