The Nerdy Bartender - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles slushies! [video]
If you are looking for a way to keep the Ninja Turtle weekend alive or just looking for fun new drinks then let me present to you Stacey Roy, the Nerdy Bartender! I've featured Stacey's awesome cosplay videos in the past but now she is starting an all new video series titled "The Nerdy Bartender" that is a lot of fun.
The first episode of The Nerdy Bartender has Stacey Roy creating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle slushies! To give the drinks a little more presentation value Stacey painted her glasses to look like the various Turtles' faces which is a fun idea. I also have to say that I love all the Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Assassin's Creed collectables in the background! I even spotted a cool Nathan Drake statue from Uncharted 3 on a shelf behind her.
Stacey walks her audience through the process of creating the drinks in a very fun and easy to follow manner which is great. The pop up "Whabam Facts", or "Fun Facts", are also a great touch and offer some really cool trivia knowledge.
I'll have to try to make these slushies myself. Are there any nerdy/geeky drinks that you would want to see be made? In the meantime, enjoy your drinks!
"Ingredients: (1 drink)
- 1oz rum
- 1/4 fresh lime
- 1/4oz lime cordial
- peach juice
- green fruit punch
- 1oz brightly colored liqueur
- lots of ice!
Recipe:
Blend all the ingredients (expect the bright colored liqueur!) together in a blender. Pour into glass and place in freezer. Blend the bright colored liqueur with ice, pour in a cup and place in freezer. After 15-30 minutes, remove both blends and carefully top the green slush with the colored liqueur slush and ENJOY*!
*Enjoy responsibly... or else!"
