Find out the monetary value of all the damage done in Ghostbusters! [video]

In Ghostbusters 2 fans find out that the Ghostbusters were in a bit of trouble after they saved New York City from Gozer and had been sued for damages to the city by several different city departments. What we don't find out if how much they were actually sued for. Well, the folks over at Cinema Sins have combed the film and calculated the exact amount of money in expenditures and damages. They even give you the sum in two forms; the amount the Ghostbusters would have owed in 1984 and what that total would equal to today. The result is staggering but it's fun to watch all the clips from the film in this video.



Damages in 1984 equaled $10,511,175(!) while today it would be $23,578,689! Wow. That is a lot of damages!
