"Batman vs Superman" gets delayed until 2016!
Unfortunate news for DC fans out there as the much anticipated sequel to Man of Steel, "Batman vs Superman", has officially been delayed.
The film was originally set to be released on July 17, 2015 but instead will now fly into theaters on May 6, 2016. A full year is quite the push back for the film but filmmakers are stating that this delay will, "allow the filmmakers time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story." There are also rumors that actor Ben Afleck (Batman) may have sustained a leg injury that may have also led to this delay. Either way it appears that DC fans will now have to wait an extra year to see the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel finally meet on the big screen.
