Marvel's superheroes swing into a new 10 part web series - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Maximum Overload! [video]

LEGO is definitely spreading their love around. Several DC Comics characters will be featured in the upcoming The LEGO Movie but now a new 10 episode web series has just been revealed titled LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload! The first five episodes have already gone LIVE online and initial fan reactions seem positive. The web series stars an all-star cast of Marvel characters from Spider-Man to Wolverine to Captain America and such villains as Loki and Doctor Octopus!

The episodes are short and sweet at around 5-8 minutes long and have a great storyline to them. Watch as the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes battle Loki and other villains for the fate of the world. S.H.I.E.L.D. also gets an increased role in the series which is a great idea given that the organization is now getting more attention with The Avengers film, and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show. The first episode is title "A Faceful of Danger!"

 

"Asgardian evildoer Loki plans to overload and control Doctor Octopus using his newly created Norn Frost snowball, all in an attempt to mess with that annoying mortal, Spider Man."
