Long Island's Patent Pending released a new video game song - Hey Mario! [video]

Check out this great new Mario Bros. song from the Long Island based band Patent Pending titled "Hey Mario". Patent Pending is a Pop-Punk band and they did a fantastic job creating this song. The song is catchy and will get a lot of support from gamers out there and the video is a lot of fun. Actual game footage from New Super Mario Bros. U, Mario Kart, and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl was used to create the video. "Hey Mario" can be found on Patent Pending's new album "Brighter" which is available world-wide October 8th (6th/7th UK/Ireland)! Let's hope that the band has been reading some of their fans' comments and makes a video for The Legend of Zelda! You never know.

On a personal note it was weird posting this video. I have known about Patent Pending since their creation in 2001 and attended many of their "Back Yard Tour" shows or local venue shows back when they were still a garage band playing around with all the other local bands (some of my friends' bands played with these guys). It's always weird to see how far they went and how well they are doing (simply because I was there for the small time stuff in 2001) but I am very happy for them and glad to spread the word of this song!
