New photo of Legolas and Tauriel from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly's Facebook page, fans can now take a look at a new image from the upcoming film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The photo features a pair of elves; Orlando Bloom as Legolas and Evangeline Lilly as the new Elf character Tauriel. It will be interesting to see how Peter Jackson is going to work Legolas into this film (since he was not in the book) and how the entirely new character Tauriel will be accepted by fans.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will hit theaters on December 13, 2013.
