| Pokemon Black and White Version 2 |
In a surprise move, it was announced that the next
Pokemon game for Nintendo will not be Pokemon Gray like many fans had theorized but
Pokemon Black and White Version 2. The news was announced yesterday by Game Freak director Junichi Masuda on the Japanese television show
Pokemon Smash. Being released this coming June,
Pokemon Black and White Version 2 will be for the Nintendo DS. This is very surprising as most had figured the next main Pokemon game would be released for the Nintendo 3DS. There's no word yet on this choice to have it on the DS as opposed to the 3DS. Not much is known about the actual games themselves but it seems that these games may continue the story from
Pokemon Black and White. This will also be the first time in Pokemon history that a game is a direct sequel to a previous game. The names of the legendary pokemon featured in these games are not yet known but the news is being teased that it will be told next week. A US release date is yet unknown but news concerning the matter is said to be released later in the year.
